This workshop will cover:

  • You’ll create a small WordPress.com website with a custom menu and sidebar
  • Set up pages and posts, categories and tags
  • Explore how to choose a theme
  • Explore how to use widgets
  • I’ll also share tips and gotchas I wish I’d known when starting out

This workshop will not cover:

  • Building an eCommerce store
  • Heavily customizing themes or installing custom themes
  • Installing and using plugins
